Shahla Mehmud Farooq (Gurya Khan - gurya {at} dharteerang {dot} com) is a Pakistani social activist, ascetic and humanitarian. She is the vision and soul behind the Dhartee Rang Trust. She has dedicated the past 10 years to providing rations to poor families, helping with dowry and wedding arrangements of women, arranging free Hajj packages for the poor and old with dreams of seeing Khaba, and finanacial aids to families striken with disastors. She has been a becon of light in the remote areas of pakistan affected by flood and earth quakes since 2010. Her relentless efforts for humanitarian causes are purely supported by her families own earnings uptil now. She even donated her own home for the cause of educating underprivilaged children. She has visions to extend her support through a free dispensary and medical laboratory.

Muhammed Umer Farooq is currently the Country Manager of Teletech Solutions International and a retired Army Colonel(Pakistan Army Corps of signals) and a communication systems engineer. As a professional he is many things but as a humanitarian he is the Ceo and Co-founder of Dhartee Rang with his wife Shahla Mehmood Farooq (Gurya Khan). He has donated his house stituated in the middle of cantonament (3 kinals) worth more 100,000,000 Rs to the Dhartee Rang Welfare Trust. He has taken the initiative to support the struggle of the less fortunate in Pakistan. Dhartee Rang is open from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm to anyone who needs help and support from our team in any way possible (financial, medical, emotional, or social). He has opened the doors to his house and selflessly donated to the cause financially and his time as an administrator.

Qasim Khan (simkhan {at} dharteerang {dot} com) is the Managing Coordinator who oversees all projects undertaken by Dhartee Rang. His commitment and dedication to the cause has helped us in taking leaps towards our goals. His efforts are focused towards the Dhartee Rang Boutique and vocational services.

Kaneez Akhtar is also the Managing Coordinator who oversees the Dhartee Rang School and Women Rehabilitation projects. She has been a social activist throughout her life prior to her expereince with Dhartee Rang. She has helped in building this foundation from scratch. Her dedication to the monterssori school has won the hearts of many children.
