We have helped in arranging many marriage ceremonies in providing modest financial and material support for families struggling to conclude staggering marriages of their daughters due to the inability to meet grooms demands of a wedding dinner for the family, a bed, sofa, and fridge. However, they are expected by the society to provide for these. As a result, women are subject to working in households untill they have saved enough money for thier wedding and dowry. We provide finanacial support for arranging the weddings and furnitute. Moreover, we have facilitated a sewing school for women to learn the craft of sewing and be able to work from home. Imp Note: This initiative is purely aimed to support and not criticize this social dogma.

Many women from respectful families have walked our doors looking for work that can help support for thier families. As a result, the Dhartee Rang team opened a vocational school to faciliate sewing, cutting, and stiching classes for women. After training, women are employed at the Dhartee Rang boutique (which is again an effort to self sustain our cause). We need your help to find ways of helping uplift the women in our society and fining more appropriate work that can help sustain widows and orphans.
